Henna
is a strong, fast acting stain. It will stain anything it touch in seconds. Wear
rubber gloves while preparing mixture and while cleaning up after application.
Select your mixing area carefully. Work outdoors if possible. If working at a sink, lay out newspapers on any surface which you may get powder or paste. Keep clothing of person receiving tattoo away from wet henna. Use safety pins to secure loose clothing. Secure long hair that may touch a wet tattoo with hair-tie. Have the person sit still during the drying time.
The tattoo will dry to touch within one hour. To get the best color, it is best to leave it on a full two hours before rinsing. It may peel while drying. If so you may peel it off, disposing of the dry Henna. After two hours rinse off under running water or with a damp disposable cloth or paper towel. Do not let the tattoo touch anything until it has been rinsed.
Henna dies the top layer of the skin, which re-news itself every month. Your tattoos will last as long as it takes your skin to exfoliate. When the tattoo is in its final days and you want to hurry the fading process you can use a facial scrub.
preparation
Put on rubber gloves and prepare work area. Fill applicator bottle (with metal tip) 1/2 way with water. Pour one bag of powder into application bottle. Mix thoroughly with swab. Mixture should have the consistency of creamy paste, thin enough to pass through metal tip, and thick enough to apply to skin without it running.
If mixture seems to thick, add a few drops of water. If too thin add a little powder.
Put
metal tip on bottle. Shake a few seconds (holding gloved finger over tip). Wipe
bottle clean with paper towel.

henna in the tip. If tip clogs, use a wire

best results use mixture within six hours of mixing. If mixture sits longer a
weaker color will result. To clean up, rinse bottle and tip in water. No soap is
needed.

suspect may have an allergic reaction, place a dot of henna paste on an
out-of-the-way part of the body, such as the foot and wait to see reaction. This
product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals.
